Six weeks have passed since the grand re-opening of the Stone Grille, and I must report the crowds have been more than expected. Like all new restaurants, many challenges are faced with everything new: staff, space, menu, processes, procedures, etc. We’ve received some great feedback with much praise, along with some very constructive and helpful suggestions. I appreciate all of the feedback and take it very seriously. We plan to capitalize on things we have done well and continue to work on things that need attention.

Forming a friendly and attentive service culture, to give members what they want, takes time, training, and commitment. We’ve had many new faces in which to ingrain the “Willow Point Way”, and I’ve heard some great comments on their personalities and willingness to serve. As managers, we have to provide them with the tools, guidance, and support to help them succeed. The membership has used the service team to speak out, and the message to bring back some “old” favorites has been loud and clear. For example, I’m pleased to announce “They’re Back!”… Sweet Potato Fries and Soft Serve Yogurt! Sometimes the simple things can be forgotten about but end up being most important to someone else. Please keep the suggestions coming because we are here for you, the members, and strive to give you what you want!
